Meet me: 
​Beata “Sita Dasjot*”

• I was born in 1955 in Duesseldorf, Germany
• I graduated from highschool in Cleveland, Ohio
• I graduated from the College of Wooster with a B.A.in general psychology
• I had a “bread-job” for 32 years assisting German writer/filmmaker Alexander Kluge in Duesseldorf
• I have a 38 year-old son whom I raised alone until puberty
• I am married to a Dutchman
• I live in the Netherlands after having lived in Germany, the U.S., and Italy
• I started with yoga as a teen (and took classes only on-and-off during the first few decades)
• I have trained in Hatha, Yin, Odaka, and Kundalini yoga
• I love design, minimalism, colour, art
• I much enjoy good food (cooking & eating out)
• I love to travel
• ​I am a weird mix of introvert and people-lover

* my Kundalini name :
“Sita” referring to the mother goddess and wife of Ram in Hindu mythology (the elder goddess) and “Dasjot” meaning tenfold light –
​the light that I am trying to spread in the world!
